Home of the $10 million dollar Raceday, this event is one not to be missed. Saturday 13th January, there will be nine races throughout the day with gates opening at 9am. With fashions on the field and a few famous faces and racing’s elite, it will be an event to really kickstart your year.
Burleigh Pro
You’ll need to take a long weekend for this event. The Burleigh Pro lasts for four days from Friday 25th – Sunday 28th with some of the best international surfers and our talented Aussie’s batting it out at this annual event. The best place to see the action is from Burleigh Heads Point Break
Second One Day International Australia vs England
One of the ultimate Australian sports is cricket, it’s what we’re known for all around the world, and it all culminates here on Friday 19th January with Australia v England ODI Series 2018, 2nd ODI at the Gabba in Brisbane.
Brisbane International
The Brisbane International runs from Sunday 31st December through to Sunday 7th January. Running annually since 2009 this Brisbane event boasts international tennis superstars, so get your tickets and catch all the action of the Brisbane International
Australia Day
We can’t end the sporting shout out, without shinning a light on the amazing talents of our Aussies around Queensland. With events on at local hotspots near you, to keep you entertained with activities like Thong Throwing, Sheep Shearing to Sausage Sizzle eating competitions.
