BURLEIGH BARBECUE CHAMPIONSHIPS
With a BBQ lasting the whole weekend, the Burleigh Barbecue championship starts on Saturday 5th August at 9am with over 50 teams battling to win best BBQ. There are different meat categories with the winners announced Sunday at 3pm. There will be entertainment and street vendors, bring your picnic chairs and blankets and don’t forget your appetite

DISCOVERY IN THE GARDENS
Held at the picturesque Regional Botanical Gardens with interactive activities including animals, science exhibits, art, food and technology. The kids will be entertained with adventure walks through nature, face painting and food stalls, while for the adults there will be talks from people like ABC Gardening Australia’s Jerry Coleby-Williams.

KEEP AUSTRALIA BEAUTIFUL
Do your part to keep Australia beautiful, with this community clean up the beach event held at North Burleigh. Clean up, and help the environment by planting natives along the beach with all equipment provided.
